`Tamso Maa Jyotirgmaya’ (From darkness, lead me to light, Mother). The newly elected president of BJP Nitin Gadkari is putting in a lot of effort to lead the party from darkness to light. In the remorseless skies of the saffron world, he has sketched a number of criss-crossing images, which neither have a pattern to them, nor colour. So a list is prepared of the daily works from out of the day’s agenda and the kitchen cabinet, meaning Ananth Kumar, Piyush Goel, Kirit Somaiyya, work on it till 5 in the morning. None of them has time to sleep or to waste. Actually, this kitchen cabinet of Gadkari gets together at midnight to take important decisions relating two the party and the most important decisions are taken between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.. So if the party president would go to sleep at 5 in the morning, then would he get up? Usually it is normally by noon, and you can see the impact on the faces of those visitors who he calls up early in the morning. But still, it is a case of better late than never. |
