A major reshuffle is possible in the Modi cabinet in the coming few days. If sources are to be believed, this reshuffle can happen anytime before the monsoon session of Parliament i.e. 17th July. The date that can be fixed for this is July 4 or 5 or anytime between July 8-15. The names doing the rounds to become a minister are any one of Captain Amarinder Singh, CP Joshi, Chirag Paswan, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Pratap Rao Jadhav, Rahul Shewale or Shrirang Burne. Many big ministers such as Dharmendra Pradhan, Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Joshi, and Mahendra Nath Pandey can be sent to the party organization in view of the upcoming 2024 elections. The burden of some ministers can be reduced, like Ashwini Vaishnav IT, and steel can be withdrawn from Jyotiraditya Scindia. In the changed scenario, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena, Mukesh Sahni’s VIP and NDA’s old constituent Akalis may return to the government again. There are speculations of a comeback even for Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP. In view of the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, the names of Dausa MP Jaskaur Meena and Banswara-Dungarpur MP Kankamal Katara are also said to be in the race for ministerial posts. At the same time, the names of Brahmin face of Rajasthan Ghanshyam Tiwari, Sikar MP Sumedhanand Saraswati and Princess Diya Kumari are also discussed. Telangana State President Bandi Sanjay Kumar can also be included in the cabinet. Malayalam superstar Suresh Gopi, who hails from Kerala, can also be made a minister at the Centre. The names of Eatala Rajendra and DK Aruna are being discussed as the new president of Telangana state BJP. These speculations are also getting wings because PM Modi is holding an important cabinet meeting on July 3 at the newly built convention center of Pragati Maidan, Delhi. Earlier this Wednesday, soon after returning from his foreign trip, the PM had a marathon meeting of 5 hours at his official residence with Amit Shah, JP Nadda and General Secretary of the organization BL Santosh. This meeting was about a comprehensive change in the government and party organization.

Mumtaz Patel, daughter of the late Ahmed Patel, who was once the pivot of Congress politics and one of the party’s Chanakya, has stepped up her pace to enter active Congress politics. Mumtaz along with her father’s former aide Yatindra Sharma met Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Venugopal on the same day an important meeting was going on at the Congress headquarters in Delhi regarding Chhattisgarh. Kanishk Singh and Mukul Wasnik are said to have played an important role in getting this meeting fixed. Ahmed Patel’s once very trusted people wanted Mumtaz to get a place in the Congress Working Committee, the top decision-making body of the party. It is also being heard that Kharge proposed to Mumtaz to take over the reins of Mahila Congress, but Mumtaz has refused for it. Mumtaz wants to contest the next Lok Sabha election from her father’s Bharuch seat. This seat was continuously held by the Congress from 1952 to 1977. In 1977, when the anti-Congress wave was going on in the country, Ahmed Patel was fielded by the Congress and then Patel won the election and after winning, he supported Indira Gandhi. Then Ahmed Patel won the elections of 1980 and 1985 from Bharuch to make it a triumvirate of victories and in 1989 he was elected to the Rajya Sabha, and thereafter continued to remain in the Rajya Sabha, but his relationship with Bharuch was never broken. He continued to represent Bharuch, while Bharuch is a seat dominated by Rajputs. Rahul Gandhi has set a target of giving 50 per cent space to the youth under 50 in the Congress organization, that is why Mumtaz also feels that she is going to get something big in the Congress organization.

Dr. Keshav Hedgewar had laid the foundation of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the year 1925. In this context, in the coming 2025, the Sangh will complete 100 years of its establishment. Sangh has already started preparations to celebrate its centenary year with great enthusiasm. At present there are 55,000 shakhas of the Sangh across the country and the goal of the Sangh is to increase it to one lakh by 2025. The Sangh aims to spread its ideas from village to village, for which the Sangh has formed a team of 3000 people under the leadership of its ‘number two’ Dattatreya Hosabale. This team will be known as ‘Shatabdi Varsh Vistarak’. These ‘vistaraks’ will reach every village, their aim is especially to help Dalit and nomadic castes. By joining 10-12 villages, these vistaraks will give it the form of a mandal. In states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, these vistaraks will implement the policy of ‘one village, one well and one cremation ground’. In view of the upcoming General Elections of 2024, these vistaraks will investigate the ground reality and mood of the people across the country and report it to the top i.e. somewhere BJP is also going to get the benefit of the ground feedback of these centenary year vistaraks.

Why has Chandrasekhar Rao, who once roamed across the country creating a hue and cry against the BJP, has taken such a big political ‘U-turn’? Why suddenly the swords of the investigating agencies on his daughter Kavita have become blunt in the liquor scam? Is KCR now ready to help BJP from inside? In return, BJP will not cross KCR’s path in Telangana and if needed, his daughter Kavita can also get ‘shelter’.
