Sangh’s baithak in Delhi? |
November 20 2012 |
Activity around choosing the new president for the BJP has started gathering speed. From November 19-21, top leaders of Sangh are going to collect in Delhi in Jhandewalan. These will include those such as Bhaiaji Joshi, Suresh Soni and Madandas Devi who are going to take part in the meeting. On changing Gadkari as the president for the party, the Sangh’s logic is that the BJP will not change its chairman due to some conspiracy or against pressure from a section of the English media. Which means Gadkari will complete his tenure as the party president until December. Sangh’s logic is that even the Congress has not done anything about removing Salman Khurshid or Chidambaram; in fact Khurshid actually got a promotion of sorts. Sangh also believes that this is not an attack on Gadkari. Nourished and nurtured by the Congress, a section of the media is trying to tarnish the image of the Sangh and BJP before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. |
