Amar Singh is returning to his form, slowly but surely. A few days ago, he revealed on a news channel how the Mercedes car that SP politician Naresh Agarwal travels around in is Subroto Roy’s car. Singh said that if the car Agarwal brings to the Parliament often has been transferred in his name, it is all right, otherwise it is illegal to have an SP’s sticker on someone else’s car. Naresh Agarwal’s words against Sebi recently are being connected with the recent Sahara fiasco.

Omar’s new obsession

Posted on 14 July 2013 by admin

As a rule, Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah takes a flight to Delhi every Friday from Srinagar. Not even the sweltering heat in the capital can dissuade him. The state’s poor public gets no chance to meet the chief minister. Whatever the chief minister wants to say to its public, he tweets about it. No one knows about Omar’s programmes in Delhi – except that he is seen with a woman news anchor time and again.

All proof gone, all files charred

Posted on 14 July 2013 by admin

Opposition parties, especially the Panther Party in Jammu and Kashmir, has been demanding Omar Abdullah to give an entire explanation of the expenditure made from the funds the Centre gives to the state and the special packages it is entitled to. That is because the Opposition parties suspect of a major scam there. But look at the coincidence: a fire starts in the Srinagar Secretariat all of a sudden and what gets burnt? All those files about the central aid – now that the evidence is gone, there will no way anyone can see what happens to all the money the state government gets from the assistance capital from the Centre.

The IB ready to retort

Posted on 08 July 2013 by admin

The IB continues to remains upset with the CBI. The grievances have to do with the way it conducts its business, the political pressures it comes under and its working style, and the way one of its partner investigative agencies and how its top officers were interrogated. So now the IB is ready with a fitting reply. Dossiers have allegedly been made by the IB on several top executives at the CBI; these officials are those who are, in some way or the other, involved in corruption. Solid proof is being collected against these CBI officials. So strong, in fact, that they will not get a second chance to escape even through legal jargon.

And thus the IB is upset

Posted on 29 June 2013 by admin

This is possible the first time in the history of the country that a prominent officer of the IB is being interrogated about his work strategy and style, his spy network, how he identifies and tracks spies, how much money there is in secret fund and so on. If sources are to be believed, the entire information is being made to look like an affidavit, which may later be a part of legal proceedings. Can an investigative agency in any country face such a state of affairs?
